Pre-submission draft plan consultation

West Bedlington Town Council has prepared a draft Neighbourhood Plan which has been informed by feedback from residents, community groups and statutory consultees. We need your input again before we formally submit it to Northumberland County Council. 

This article provides some background to the plan and a summary of the planning policies and community actions.

West Bedlington Town Council will host a drop-in event on Thursday 16th October 2025 in Bedlington Community Centre, Front Street West, Bedlington NE22 5TT.  The drop-in event will start at 4pm and end at 8pm.

We need your comments on the following documents (all open in a new window):

Hard copies of the consultation documents are available to view at the Town Council office in Bedlington Community Centre, Front Street West, Bedlington NE22 5TT. We are open at the following times; Monday, Thursday and Fridays, 9.30am until 1.00pm.

You can submit your views in the following ways:

• Download and complete the response form and send it back to us

• Hand in your completed response form at the Town Council office in Bedlington Community Centre, Front Street West, Bedlington NE22 5TT. We are open at the following times; Monday, Thursday and Fridays, 9.30am until 1.00pm
• All responses to be received before noon Monday 3^rd November 2025
